This page is going to show photoghaphs from the past, but will be mainly from my Amor line or in and around the All Cannings locality.

it is where I lived from 1934 to 1968.


my father This is a photograph of my mother and father, Emily (nee Rose) & Thomas Amor taken around 1936 when we were living at 79 All Cannings, near Devizes, Wiltshire, UK.


hsh.jpg" This was the home from 1910 until approx 1928 at Allington near Devizes Wiltshire UK for my parents Thomas Amor and his wife Emily (nee Rose), five of their children were born here, ie Winifred, Ethel, Thomas, Cyril, and Doris, the family moved to All Cannings about 1928, I Gordon Peter was born 1932. This photo was taken around July 2001.

How it used to be done, a picture taken in the All Cannings locality, period 1930/40 the men were harvesting what appears to a wheat crop, I do not know who they are or what farm they would have been working on.harvest
